GreenFields Environment-labels explained
The GreenFields ECO-range is a range of artificial turf systems designed with a strong focus on sustainability and durable performance. The systems are labelled via an innovative and robust classification system to illustrate the eco-credentials of each system. The sustainability classification has been developed, tested, and evaluated with the support of the Centre for Turf Innovation by TenCate Grass.
A GreenFields synthetic turf system is assessed in three categories, with each three ECO-variables. With these categories each aspect of the system -from raw material to end-of life recycling- is part of the ECO-labelling system. This system makes it possible to score and compare synthetic turf systems relative to each other.

Infill options within the ECO-range
Performance infill is an important component of a 3G synthetic pitch. Performance infill ensures that the players’ shoes have a good grip and adds additional sport-technical properties to the system. The natural and bio-degradable infills in the ECO-range have been extensively tested for performance and durability, and are certified by independent test institutes.
Within the GreenFields ECO-range, we focus on a reduction of infill migration by selecting the right carpet: a lower pile height and ingenious fibre combinations retain the natural or biodegradable infill in our ECO-range systems very efficiently, reducing dispersion into the environment.
